This is pure brilliance in written form . This article is truly mind-blowing , the depth , clarity , and brilliance of ideas and reality make it one of the most astonishing pieces i have ever read . Absolutely unforgettable!!!.
This dropped in my feed right when i needed to seeit. I like to believe universe sends me little messages in the form of substack posts and this is just THE perfect timing. Thank you. You have no idea how someone's simple thoughts can have so much impact on someone else's lives, im glad you wrote this.
This is really good. Honestly, I've been with the mentality that to achieve success, I have to cut out all fun. This was really eye opening. Thanks for writing
First time I disagree with you on something. I liked the post. Full of valuable insights that mostly align with my values and beliefs. I think, however, that there's an important difference that is worth pointing out. That is the difference between rejecting the 24/7 "grind-set" culture; and going to concerts, smoking weed, and staying up late. I agree with the former but disagree with the latter. Nobody should keep grinding this hard as it is, in my opinion, inhumane and can sometimes be counter-intuitive because like you said, your brain needs to rest and take a breather to take in all the information and refresh. However, this should not mean that you should pull all-nighters with friends, smoke weed, and drink. At least not if you want to build something big. These are harmful habits that do pull you back. All-nighters mess up your sleep schedule and steals many days from you before you could catch back up again, alcohol has proven harmful on your body and brain. Weed is similar. I'm not telling people what they should do and should not do. I'm just stating time is a limited currency and you should know that you should be conscious everytime you choose where to allocate it. Depending on how big of a business you want to build or how distinctive you want to become among your peers, you should choose how much trade-off you want to make. This in no way me guilt-tripping anyone who chooses a certain pathway. Guilt never leads to anything good. This is me just spreading the fact that regardless of some names you dropped in the posts, the majority of successful people who made it bigger than 99% of people, gave up on stuff that 99% of people aren't willing to give up. The names you dropped do not represent the majority. Luck is a factor that we can't generalize.
This is just my opinion, though. Again, love your work and I'm a paid subscriber to you!
I completely agree with the part about comparing yourself to millions thanks to social media, and what’s helped me with that was just getting rid of social media. I feel more present and less overstimulated. :)
It's not our fault😭. I'm 19 and I see so many people of the same age already building there empire so many people achieving there goals while I barely achieve mine of losing weight💔
Im 23, time stopped for me when I broke my bone(still ongoing recovery). 3 months of literally doing nothing and i felt useless and lost. I was back to 0, but in that timeline I learned to be patient and grateful that I survived. I took the time and had fun with myself, I finally allowed myself to. I went back to hobbies, bought a Nintendo switch and played lots of games instead of trying to lock in and build an empire.
I don't attend college parties because I am not living in the hostel the uni adopted for us sophomores.
I live outside. Let ne be honest with you I want to have fun, party and do most of the things. But I feel of I go out there I would lose myself in the process....
Unfortunately some of us were never born with a safety net and cushion. We cannot afford to let our foot off the gas because our families depend on us. Partying and indulging in vanity and hedonism must be nice for those of yall who can afford to. I cant. My family depends on me. So I will not let my foot off the gas.

Both ways of living - grinding and partying - lead to self-destruction.
Both forms of escape.
I see the real need in slowing down. Giving our bodies and minds time and space to rest and relax, each day.
Only then can we begin to build and create more naturally the life we truly want.

just what i needed to hear at this point🔥thank you!
Amazing article! And it's true that we can both be grinding and also find time to rest even though society expects us to be productive 24/7

Halfway into my 20s … feel like I haven’t lived life enough (cause I haven’t) and still hustling 😂
How is life supposed to be at seventeen..

What do you think ?
Go out, party. You will only lose yourself if you want to. Go have that campus experience girl!
I am a boy 😂
But sure I will take your advise ☺️
Ooh sorry😭😂
It's not a problem.
I need you to stop using AI images in your posts pls. It really takes away from your message about using your brain to do great things.
