Great post saying what needs to be said. This quote in particular - “if i just read enough books, take enough courses, think hard enough, i’ll figure out my purpose.” - articulates the folly of the striver who becomes paralyzed by the fear of the infinite and drawn to just act. But acting out of scarcity is never a way to find what you're truly looking for.
I cannot say thank you enough for this post. I needed to put words to my feelings and current battle ive been struggling through. Its really paralyzing and more so, the people around you who are busy doing things feel like they are moving a million miles an hour past you, so to explain this to them is almost a joke. They always have these solutions for you and then just pure annoyance as to why you are I a complete stand still. This gave me so much more to think about and I needed this horribly. Thanks again!
should say, the best of all the blogs of yours i read coz i could relate with it so many times on find the purpose, on getting stuck, on subconsciously wiring my brain to stay stuck, puzzled and feeling anxious when i dont know where things are going. really this blog would always be my favourite one
Hi, so I'm about to graduale from highschool and I feel extremely lost. I deeply appreciate this article and thanks for sharing. Just letting you know, it really had impact🫶
I have been reading your works and I really wanna be like you. Intellectual, healthy, earning and writing. You make me wanna push myself and remind me that I can come here and get inspired again and again. Idk why you seem like a great person to be. I inherently feel this respect towards you.

taking the next step vs the entire path. needed this today ❤️
I resonate with this deeply - especially the 'giving yourself permission' part.
I lived for so long doing what I thought I should be or following what others were doing and constantly felt lost and weary.
It was only recently when I started living for myself and what I actually wanted and enjoyed that I feel this sense of purpose.
Purpose is in the path, not the destination.

Another great article, such a fan of your work and style. It’s so digestible and relatable. And I love tea! It’s nice with honey.
Thank you for writing this!
Your purpose in life doesn't have to be profound, it just has to resonate with the core of you.
Thank you

Realised recently purpose is everything. I just wrote a piece on how I moved overseas and had a very “idyllic” life… but my purpose wasn’t there…
I love your take on life’s purpose, I just wrote a post about purpose too
